Srivastava named SCIAC Specialist of the Week

ORANGE, Calif. – Senior Sophie Srivastava tallied two more triple doubles last week to earn the SCIAC Specialist of the Week honors. She was also named to the Trinity Invitational All-Tournament team.

Srivastava averaged  2.86 kills, 4.64 assists and 3.86 digs per set as well as tallying 10 total blocks in four matches last week. In the Panthers' sweep of Texas Lutheran, she compiled 11 kills, 16 assists and 20 digs to lead the way.

The two-time All-SCIAC setter and right side hitter ranks first or second on the team in kills, assists, digs and blocks per set. She has three triple-doubles this season – tied for second in Division III.

The Panthers open the SCIAC season tomorrow at 7 p.m. against Pomona-Pitzer in the Hutton Sports Center.
