Chapman freshman named to All-Independents team

ORANGE, Calif. -  Chapman University freshman Chris Cresci has been named to the Association of Division III Independents All-Independent men's cross country team. The rookie earned honorable mention honors after being Chapman's top finisher at the West Regionals last month.

Cresci was the Panthers' top runner twice this season and recorded a career-best time of 28:20.8 in the 8K at the U.C. Riverside Invitational in September. The freshman ran a time of 30:23.6 at the West Region championships in Salem, Ore. in November.
